How do we migrate? What make use feel nostalgic?
Unsettled feelings Is a 3min audio narrative. It is fragments of personal voice notes, writings, readings and archival material that I recorded while staying in Beirut, Lebanon.
This project was elaborated as part of artistic residency in Albanella, Italy.
Unsettled feelings contextualize migration as a political event with its own temporality, one that leaves the daily interactions and vocality of the present, and enters a space of absence where gaps, voids, and suspensions in action and language exist in incomprehensible conversations, temporary apartments, and ears lost in translation.
