The program consists of artistic activities: Dance Work, Bodyscaping, Life. Refabricated., Manifestare, Campo Neapolis, Scuola al mare.
The Erratica is a permanent laboratory of artistic processes. Erratica aims to be a space for artistic encounters, where the soft powers of rest, resistance, reflection, resilience play out in curious ways. Erratica interweaves artistic and somatic practices, explores questions about present, ways of being together and reclaims a slow and caring pace of living.
We (Elena, Daniele, Chada, David and Gregor) are setting up Erratica 2025 as a network of relations between people (artists, producers, curators, inbetweens, financers), organizations, other entities that are in one way or the other in our vicinity.
We want to work from what is there, immediatelly available, as a knowledge, resources, a place to stand on and do the next step into the unknown.
Our financial resources are limited, our eagerness to co-create, co-exist, co-inhabit, co-imagine, co-research is limitless and relentless.
As we wrote above, Erratica is a permanent laboratory of artistic processes. This year the laboratory is mutual inscription into contexts that are physically, geographically, politically, emotionally far away from each other, ie far in terms of what we are used to.
How do we imagine it to work Erratica 2025? Example: David and Gregor organized themselves to work for a week in the beginning of the July in Berlin in a space Wiesenburghalle. They have proposal for themselves what they will work on (called PlanthropoScene) in that (Erratica) laboratory there. And you are invited to join them with your interest and your resources. Once you express your interest we start together to explore the possibilities to join them.
In this inscription into each other’s material realities it is crucial for us not to force, not to overstress, not to overwork. It is of great importance that already as we are organizing a lab for example in Berlin, we do it gently, listening to each other and ouselves.
